Certified to LPS 1175 Issue 8 (SR2), the system provides a strong visual and physical deterrent, ideal for commercial, industrial and low-risk infrastructure sites.
The 3-wing 120° rotor configuration ensures smooth and consistent throughput, while the integrated electro-mechanical control system delivers reliable, fail-secure operation. Designed with simplicity in mind, the unit is supplied fully assembled with plug & play connectivity, allowing rapid installation and immediate integration into existing access control systems.
The system is certified to LPS 1175 Issue 8 B3 (Security Rating SR2) and designed in accordance with EN 17352:2022, with UKCA and CE marking. The unit measures 2232 mm in height, 1438 mm in width and 1303 mm in depth, with a clear walkway width of 770 mm and a 3-wing 120° rotor configuration. Constructed from 50 × 50 × 4 mm mild steel box section, the turnstile features a CHS mild steel rotor with a 2.5 mm wall thickness and 358 Hi-Ten mesh infill. The electro-mechanical head mechanism operates a manual rotor with solenoid locking, providing fail-secure functionality, dual direction control, free-spin override in the event of a fire alarm and an integrated manual override key switch. Electrical components include a 230V AC incoming supply, internal 24V DC power supply, and volt-free connections for seamless integration with access control systems, all housed within an IP-rated enclosure. The unit is hot dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461 and polyester powder coated to BS EN 13438, with standard or bespoke RAL colour options available, including contrasting finishes to support DDA compliance.
